Jesus – only a prophet?

Jesus clarified that He was much more than a prophet, that He was the fulfillment and the completion of the prophecies, and that He was the Savior of the world. If He was only a true prophet, He could never say the things that He said about Himself:

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." (John 11, 25-26)

“I am the way, the truth, and the lift. No one comes to the Farther except through Me." (John 14, 6).

"And this is the will of the Farther who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6, 40)

The words that Jesus spoke were witnessed and testified by His disciples that lived with Him for several years. They also witnessed and testified the powerful miracles and healings He did to set people free from suffering and illnesses. It is all stated in the New Testament, The Gospels according to His disciples; Matthew, Mark, and John.

It should be asked; Who would have the best knowledge of a person? The ones that lived with Him for several years and witnessed what He said and what He did, or someone that came many hundred years afterward and did not witnessed any of these things?
